Attune Yoga is a unique movement practice created by Gina Kelley that integrates awareness and movement principles of the Alexander Technique with alignment-based hatha flow yoga, mindfulness and other somatic disciplines. Classes begin in stillness and reflection, and build into rhythmic, intelligent flowing sequences that invite each participant to use skillful attention to find optimal movement and potential. 

As with any activity, one can bring unconscious habits of tension or faulty movement patterns to the practice, decreasing the general benefits. Hands-on Alexander guidance is offered during instruction to further help students become aware of and release tension and habits.

Gina teaches individuals and small groups. She also specializes in leading large scale classes, skillfully harnessing the energy of a large community practicing together. 

A wide range of students seek out private lessons with Gina including:

  • beginning or intermediate students who want individualized attention in alignment, understanding of poses, and sequencing;
  • regular practitioners who prefer to practice yoga privately or with a small group of friends or family;
  •  yogis who usually take faster-paced classes and find themselves unsure of how to achieve advanced poses within the flow or who have sustained injuries and wish to re-examine their practice.
